"Long said one of the real dangers of having exotic poisonous snakes is that the neighbors probably don't know that a snake collector lives next door, and may not be wary enough for their children's safety."



No, the problem is that, realistically, a child is far, far, far more likely to be killed in someone's swimming pool, which the neighbors ALL know about.



Statements like these are simply scaremongering and the spreading of hatred for an identifiable group of people. Isn't this illegal?
