Some don't knock!

Doug unfortunately some UPS drivers don't knock or ring the bell. I have walked out and tripped over packages left on my steps. I tell people if you are expecting a live shipment then be attentive and wait near the door or check very frequently. I will try to make all of my shipments to where the buyer has to sign. I think that's the only way to assure they knock. If the buyer wants to waiver that then there probably won't be a live guarantee?
