Daytona was good.
The weather was fair and made for good days at the beach and nice nights to hang out on the courtyard.
The vendor list was down, seemingly. Some isles had 10 or more feet of space between tables. Attendance seemed up. Lots of people were coming through all weekend long.
Game & fish was in full force with 6 game wardens and 2 investigators inspecting and checking permits and issuing warnings or citations. A few of them actually were buying herps at the show and said they kept personal collections.
Some vendors did ok at the show but I spoke to at least 2 that had not sold anything. At least 4 vendors said they would not return due to low sales and hassles with permitting.
As far as hognose go, I got to see some pics of the ghost produced by Vin Russo and Rich Hume. They also had some super nice light phase axanthics.
Mike Nearhoof and Ted Thompson had the mosaics out and anacondas.
Brent Bumgardner had a nice Albino conda and some cool supers and anacondas displayed. A light phase snow was cool also.
Don shores had a cool purple line conda
and a nice super female displayed.
John Waddell had some cool het albino condas out.
Jeff Nemanius and Chad Fuchs take the cake with Chads paradox/calico hoggie. Its face was literally colored normal on one side and bright orange albino on the other. One eye is colored normal, the other is albino.
