I think it was Nick Mutton who explained a theory on reptile radio a year or so ago about visual paradoxing occuring as the result of conjoined embryos. He explained that when embyos conjoin perfectly they'd appear as two snakes mixed into one, when they conjoin imperfectly they'll appear as a two headed or two tailed snake. If that's the case with this snake, the calico would be an albino conjoined perfectly with a 66% het albino, and would breed as one or the other. | ||
