Yeah, Kevin is absolutely correct about them not all displaying drastic amounts of the trait on each specimen,and that the trait is not well understood. They can vary substantially with the pied expression.



Don Soderberg is probably the breeder you were thinking of that was working with them. They were a few thousand bucks when they first hit the scene.
