I got this little girl in from a person who should have been arrested for animal cruelty. She was coveed in mites, had a severe RI, internal parasites, severley dehydrated, multiple stuck sheds, and grossly underweight. I set her up in her own cage in my bedroom away from disturbances and my other snakes so she could recover in quiet and I could monitor her.

After all these months of baytril, panacur, soaking her to remove old sheds and help with new sheds, tubing her to get pedialite into her, and assist feeding her small meals each week, SHE FINALLY ATE A F/T RAT ON HER OWN TODAY. She grabbed it as soon as I opened her cage. She has gone from under 200 grams and almost 3 feet to over 500 grams and roughly 3 1/2 feet. She is now shiny, fat, alert, and eating and drinking on her own.

This girl is not only a tough little snake but she is the most gentle BP I have. She seemed to have known I was helping her all this time because she never attempted to EVER bite me even though she had many chances during this whole ordeal. Hopefully she will live another 20-30 years with me.
