Posted by: adamjeffery at Thu Sep 2 17:53:41 2010 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by adamjeffery ] if i get a snake that is haveing a problem shedding i put it in a small 5 qt tub by itself and put 2 paper towels in the bottom folded in half. i then soak the paper towels in water. i mean soak like sopping wet. i then put a decorative rock for a fish tank that has a hole in the center and is rough on the outside, its like man made sand stone. usually within an hour they have completely shed. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR SNAKE IN THE TUB FOR MORE THAN A COUPLE OF HOURS. if too long your snake can develop scale problems due to the constant moisture. im not sur how long it would take to cause an issue but i never leave mine for more than a couple hours. its always worked the first time around.
