So, let me get this straight, you thought you'd come here and tell us not to release our snakes in order to "save snakes"?

Don't you realize that implies you think people reading your post are out there releasing snakes or housing them improperly so that they can escape?

So you are basically insulting all of us here, by implying we are the ones doing that.

You are not saving any snakes by coming here telling us not to release our snakes. None of us here are releasing any snakes.

My first post was not that negative about you other than being surprised anyone owning a ball python would publicly link Ball Pythons with the Everglades issue which is the exact mentality we've been fighting so hard against. As a Ball Python owner you should have known better than that.

My initial negativity was mainly aimed at the media who are notorious for reporting wrong species and wrong size to boost ratings and add sensationalism to their stories. I still haven't been able to find any link to the report. Post a link please.
