Btw, another portrait of another friend of mine, he had a very badly broken nose from years ago that was not fixed. It is extremely curved, so much so that when I painted his portrait I corrected his nose, I felt that no one would think his nose was actually that curved, although it is. Fortunately he and his family like it corrected and love the portrait.

The other portrait, I did not correct anything hence his scared chin etc. but I felt the image was so strong it stood on its own merit. His wife loves the painting. I have known him for twenty years, his face is very powerful and interesting, much character, "perfect imperfections"
