I name most of my animals. Many of my fish even have names. It just depends on if they have enough overt personality to trigger something. Some take longer to name and some I know the second I see them.
Fish....Imotep...Fahaka Puffer..TONS of personality and named since as a 3inch baby he filleted any other living thing in the tank. He lives alone.
Psychadelic Mandarin....Batman...aka Bruce Wayne...he moves up the walls.
Ick and Burp- my sons first marine fish...a pr of Ocellaris clownfish...he was 10yrs old at the time. Ick and Burp are nearly 8!

Reptiles..
TealC- black SST

Adelaide and Darwin- pr. of Children's and their daughter Betty June...so named from the movie Shattered, even if she isn't a BC

Maleki- Indigo

McQueen- escape artist hypo everglades ratsnake

Sickle- Harry potter named everglades ratsnake

Torque- albino yellow ratsnake...rather high strung though not as bad as the greens

Witch- greenish ratsnake

Iryx- Mexican milksnake

Pyxie- hypo BC

loads of them are not named though. Gotta admit.
