"The price of co dom males and females doesn't seem to matter, so check the price of a male spider."

That has to be the single worst piece of advise I have heard to date. Maybe if we are talking hatchlings, but we arn't we are talking about a large ready to breed female which will fetch a MUCH higher premium then a male of equal size. Bottom line 1500 gram spider male $200-$300, being that the season is kicking off in less than a month will also help determine the value of the spider in question. You are able to buy her this year, drop her on a powerful male and get 10 fold of the original investment of the spider female. Breeders know this, that is why prices are higher for females this time of year, let alone ready to breed females. I would price her abound $2000 and I bet you would have some people interested at least to make a quick clutch out of her. If that doesn't work than $1500, it would be foolish to take less because you could breed her yourself, sell the babies, and sell her for $1000 after she lays. All this comes into play with adult morphs at this time of year. And Lady good luck finding an adult female spider (or any morphs for that matter) anywhere in the same neighborhood as a male, breeding time or not.
