82 and 90 fine.
is that actual floor temp?air temp? under bedding on the actual tub floor temp?..>LOL......

if it's actual floor temp it's ok all year

you will see they hug front...they are too hot....they hug tape end...too cold...check temp...if 82...winter , they are fine , let them hug the tape....

thermostat here is set at 90 now...it was around 94 for awhile....but that's not the actual temp ON the cage floor...
and I have cages with no tape...balls at 79 to 85 all year long....male usually and doing fine......
