That old world elapid looks enough like a new world colubrid that anyone who didn't know any batter, upon seeing that ad, might assume that the baird's rat in their yard is deadly. perhaps better wording for the ad would have been "what do you do if you encounter a deadly snake" with a picture of an easily identifiable viper species. | ||
