I wrote the bit about commercial collection and I assure you, it has nothing to do with demonizing commercial collection. Gassers are not out collecting snakes as personal pets, they are typically collecting them for commercial purposes (albiet, the endpoint for the snake may be different than commercial collection for the pet trade). So, "commonly associated with commercial collection" is a statement of fact. That is not to imply that all commercial collectors (even those who collect WDR) are gassing snakes. So, should I have said "commercial parts trade" so as to distinguish it from "commercial pet trade"? C'mon.
