How about "Sheeple" and "Sheeple Herders" then?

My point being -- we just keep getting dumber and dumber as a society, freely forfeiting and delegating our rights and responsibilities to others, for others to decide right from wrong.
That is why people are so eager to accept such outright BS/urban legend/myth as reality. They're too intellectually lazy to give it a second thought. Besides that, the conjured version is much more titillating than reality and makes for better gossip and water cooler talk. How sad a statement of our society!
