Wow - very cool find.



For what it's worth (no pun intended) it would be great to see that little guy (or gal?) end up old, healthy and the parent of many offspring... especially if it's lack of scales is heritable.



If you hang on to it - spare no expense in keeping it healthy and happy



If you decide to sell or donate it (e.g. to a zoo or something) - make sure it goes somewhere where it will be well cared for and part of an established breeding colony.



... and definitely keep the photos coming! Any chance for a few macro shots?
