"The herp industry needs to be included in this to be sure we can harvest in a sustainable manner all herp species not listed as Endangered or Threatened. This needs to be done in every state so we don't have to worry about extremist AR groups and academics. And since we are businesses and keep them alive, breed, provide research/exhibit specimens and commerce in them, the right to sell must also be included."

I agree with you Mike. It is ambiguous and somewhat hypocritical to think some are above "commerce" in these activities.

I personally believe that is one of the primary motivating factors behind Government{s) seeking to eradicate our endeavors...there is definitely commerce involved. They see that, but can't seem to get a handle on skimming their share of the royalties, so they're in a mood to shut this thing down. We're such an irreverant group, after all.
