funny you mention that, this particular hatchling does have the yellow on the belly you are talking about it. can you please post pics of yours as a hatchling and as an adult....it would really help to see what he could potentially look like as an adult.

maybe he's just a normal fire? maybe the mother had something to do with it also. i do plan to breed him back to the mother next year.

i'll post pics when the time comes.

>>What line of fire was he? I had similar babies last year from a fire male to a normal. Two where very normal looking fires and two are very bright/yellow. The bellies are clear but are completely yellow. They are now 1000 grams and still bright but not as faded/hypo like most fires. I have been wondering if this is just variation in the fire gene?
