It's not so much blatantly religious laws as it is the underlying reason they hold some of their positions on issues. Especially for a party who supports "personal freedom and responsibility" this is even more ironic. Examples of issues where the majority of opposition/support is based off of religion and not logic and reason:
Gay Marriage
DADT in the military
Human stem cell research funding
Abortion
Abstinence only education
Creationism being taught as science
"Blue laws" in Southern states
etc...
