And there is nothing "ignorant" about stating a FACT. Sure, I did breed normal burmese before. You got me there. But that was in the 80's before there was any form of a burmese overpopulation problem. The last year I reproduced normal burms was 1989 when they still sold for 150 to 300 each and were still somewhat scarce.

FURTHERMORE,.. I don't do any het breeding beyond granite het albino to albino and this does not produce ANY normals. Because I am adamantly against contributing to that existing problem.

And let me tell you something about import practices. It will be done regardless of how many ADDITIONAL burmese are churned out in captivity. So you are certainly not helping anything by producing a few more score of them. Only hurting.

>>Rude isn't a problem but that was ignorant. There is no need to attack someone for asking for help. I happen to love working with Burmese Pythons and who said I was going to produce normals. Even if I were there are some of us less fortunate that happen to have to start where we can. The injustice is taking animals out of the wild not producing them in captivity. Burmese Pythons happen to sell quite well where we are and if I am able to provide informed adults with wonderful giant snakes than so be it. I will use them as a stepping stone to bigger and better things. YOU HAVE ALL DONE IT so noone has the right to judge. Normals are produced every year by the biggest name breeders in the business. When you breed het to het your produce some normals because you can't prove the genetics of the normal looking offspring in the clutch! I enjoy every Burm I own and take great care of them. As a keeper it is my obligation to allow all of the animals in my collection to fulfill their God given desire to reproduce. Sorry, for the rambling and don't worry I won't be back here. I have wasted enough time on this board. To those of you who don't feel like the gentleman that responded to my post you really shouldn't allow ignorance to run rampid. If you can't be constructive to someone that sincerely asks for a little help then just don't reply at all. Thanks alot!
