I sort of tried the forum thing...

Well, not a full blown forum dedicated to rainbows, but I teamed up with the owners of another forum to expand and include categories for Epicrates (and a few other genera.) If anyone is interested, just PM me. I'm kind of neutral on the idea of a dedicated forum. It would be a neat project, but at the same time I'm not so sure people aren't forum'ed out with all the existing ones.



Another idea is to create a Facebook page. That doesn't seem to be quite as much work as starting a new forum. I could create one if there is enough interest.
