Okay, actually I think this is the first thing I have EVER built so I may need some advice.

I am getting my boyfriend a ball python for Christmas (also his birthday). He has never owned a snake, but I have owned many. I figure that a ball python would be a great first time snake for him, I had two and I loved them.

So I want to build my own enclosure...knowing glass tanks do not insulate very well I want to make it mostly wooden. I will not be doing this by myself (hopefully) my dad is a fantastic builder and I am sure he would be more than happy to help.

If anyone could post pictures of their custom enclosures that would be a HUGE help. If you want to post additional information (type of materials, any special features) that would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! This will be the best present ever
