Since you are both tight on funds AND looking to prove out these poss hets, what I would do is probably find a good priced adult breeder male 100% het (easily found, only about $400-$600) and a normal female for the salmon male - she should only cost you about $100 or so.
For only about $400-$700, you get 2 litters, 1 containing half salmons, and you get to see if the female proves out.
If you are more concerned of making more money when they drop and are tighter on funds now, I would mate them together and at least get half salmons, ALL poss hets.
Getting an adult het female or albino female is obviously out of the question, as is an albino male.
This is what I would do with what you have.
If you HAD TO and could only prove ONE this season, you would need to try and prove the female with a male het. only choice.
If you know someone in your area, offer your male for stud service and ask for half the litter OR MORE considering what they have!
Now there is more to consider!!! WHO WHERE WHAT !!!!!!!!!!!! ----- 'Tis not the stongest of the species that will eventually survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change' Charles Darwin
