Mystery snake in the past

Back in the early '70s I was hunting Hwy 40 near El Palmito,Sinaloa,Mexico I caught a snake that I thought was some kind of racer. It took me a year to finally identify it as Dryodophis clifftoni.
Has anyone else had any experience with this snake?
It turned out to be a fantastic captive, almost a pet.
Thank you for any info or feedback.
