Not only do people think reptiles are not animals but I have found that a lot of people dont know what a "tortoise" is! People that work for airlines and others that should know like teachers,first responders, news reporters. I have to mark my tortoise shipments "live turtles" just to be sure handlers get a hint that its a LIVE parcel. Maybe I should mark it FISH. Ask around you'll be shocked. Kind of like Jay Leno's bit on TV where folks in Collage dont know ..it! VM
