They were sold to me as "Stillwater" Hypos. I actually like the one that you think is a cross because of all the orange. I have been looking for a male with the same colors. They are sisters from the same clutch. The more "Stillwater" of the two is a bit kookoo, she poops in her hide and is a bit more skittish. I love them regardless and they will have a good life while I have them.

>>IMHO at least one of them is actually a texas red X stillwater cross. In my experience you never get those colors in a straight stillwater. If you look at the "handfull of Stillwaters" posting a couple threads down you see classic wheat yellow ground color of typical stillwater line.

>>I suppose it is a pandora's box sort of thing. I know myself and others have outcrossed the Kingsville TX red line into the Stillwater line and I am personally getting some very nice looking animals. I tried to coin the term "flame bulls" but I am no marketing genius so it never took off. I am maintaining the original Stillwater line as well for prosperity.

>>The flames vary from really flowerpot red to little or no color because the "red" gene is multi-variable but if your "stillwater" has any orange or red in the ground color it is probably not a "Stillwater".
