A kick in the pants reminder for all those who read this and were or are of the mind that if the "herp community" "sacrifices" the rights of the big constricting snake keepers, the folks making and pushing these regs and laws will pass some feel good laws that make people think they are somehow safer and leave the other animals (the ones that they chose to keep) be...
This will be the death knell of our hobby on a whole. If the precedent is set that anything that is exotic - coming from another country - and could survive a winter somewhere in the continental USA is set - kiss things like Bearded Dragons, Fat Tailed Geckos, Sulcata Tortoises, Ball Pythons and on and on - good bye!
