Hello everyone. I'm thinking about buying a boa. I have owned a python for years and I think it's time to get another snake. I absolutely love the way boa's look, so I'm probably going to get one.
What kind would you all recommend as a great "Starter boa". I don't want a snake that gets real nervous around people and I don't want one that gets TOO big, I like the idea of a 6 feet or so adult. I also don't want a snake that you have to handle under supervision of other people to make sure it doesn't kill you full grown (I know that sounds lame and i've probably read to many caresheets). I really like the way the redtails look, and the anerythristics, and pinkish hogg islands are pretty cool too.
Can you guys recommend a highly reputable breeder that will always be there to help you out when you need it? I think I may purchase from boaphile but he doesnt' have any hogg islands, let me know what you guys think!!!
