I openly refer to my pets as 'a collection'. I had the argument when i was young living with my mother. She would constantly say 'why do you want more snakes? dont you have enough?'. Considering my corn snakes take about a 2'x2' space each, Cost about $0.20 a week to feed, Only require bedding once a month (which i buy in bulk dirt cheap),require fresh water everyday, defecate once every 10 days, dont smell, dont make noise and are absolutely fascinating to watch and interact with i would say no. I dont have enough snakes. Of course when people hoard animals who dont have adequate space or funds it is a sad thing. [ Hide Replies ]
