No, I don't think we know each other. I am only about 4 hrs south of canada...upstate NY. But only been there once on a weekend visit a gazillion years ago.



Doctors guess all the time. Hopefully they do use a little educational guessing though. In my case they started treating without a diagnosis and saved my life but I changed anyway since when I asked why they did what they did she basically said...'well I knew we had to do something fast and this seemed reasonable' (starting me on doxycycline and rocephine). No harm and it got me out of the hospital but I wasn't totally healthy for two more years and a long run of three antibiotics intended to treat an infiltrate pneumonia. And they have narrowed my ailment down to one of a couple hundred rickettsia. Practicing...

For a Dr to jump on warts as passed by reptiles...wow. Maybe he got his herps confused? Maybe he was thinking TOADS. J/k
