Posted by: KevinM at Fri Dec 3 17:34:12 2010 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by KevinM ] Jimmy, bairdi appear to be appreciated by "seasoned" hobbyists and breeders than the "fresh out the egg" folks that are attending the shows, etc. Man, I could write a thesis on the changes I have seen in the hobby over the past 15-20 years regarding many cool species. Bairdi, fox snakes, and tons of other NA and Asian Elaphe just seem to have fallen off the planet as far as easy acquisition. You just dont see them that much at the shows and general herp market. If it aint some bizarre color/pattern, or has a "wow" factor of any kind, then there represenation in the market has just dwindled unfortunately. [ Hide Replies ]
