I remember when they were a rare and expensive snake in the 1980s. I finally got 1.1 yearling Bairds a couple years ago and bred them this year. They are indeed cool snakes - more active than kings, milks and corns. As a bonus, the babies I produced this year hatched out big and all ate fuzzy mice without hesitation.
