Yeah, line breeding can result in some wierd things I reckon, it's not just color/pattern that can shift, as you said, those traits are just the most obvious. Like one of my Stillwaters which has a sort of wierd head shape and tends to sleep with her mouth open ...good thing is I like the look and she is an absolutely awesome animal.
btw, what the heck is that guy? I might guess bimaris? Or deserticola x vertabralis? Good looking pygmy -----
