Posted by: ginter at Sat Dec 11 12:57:28 2010 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by ginter ] Not sure if I ever posted a pic of this fellow... I ended up having to go out and collect a pair of this taxon after years of searching for CB locality catenifer unsuccessfully. I managed to to get a nice pair of hatchlings off the road in an area where they are quite abundant. The first one I saw on the first evening out was a DOR striped phase hatchling, then I encountered about 35-40 normal blotched hatchlings on the road over two nights, and of course the last one I saw on the last night out was a living striped phase.... (about 40m down the road from the spot where I saw the original DOR!) [ Hide Replies ]
