Hey.. if anyone could help me, it would be great. I don't have much experience with boa's. 3 years ago i had a pair of healthy young boas, about the same size as the one i have now. 2 years ago i had a 7 footer who was easy to take care of and very helthy, shame i had to give him away.
My problem lies with this newborn baby redtail boa. He was given to me, and looks to be only a few months old. I would say he is 14 to 16 inches, a bit skinny, but not out of proportion. He wont eat, and i have been force feeding him pinkies. He has alot of "hard" wrinkles.. especially around the upper neck and tail sections. these wrinkles are very hard, and not smooth. He doesnt drink from the water bowl, but i spray water on him and surrounding fake-vegetaion which he seems to like. I bathe him in warm water once in a while, but i still can't figure out why he has these wrinkles. None of my other boas had this.
IF anyone knows more about this, if the snake is lacking somthing, or is getting too much of something.. please let me know, i would hate for him not to make it.
Thanks
DD
