On the other hand, it is nice to see that somewhere in the world some people care enough about reptile suffering to do something about it. Keeping herps in sub-standard housing is bad form, and should be punished accordingly--on a case-by-case basis, as was done here. No mention of a ban anywhere. Shame it doesn't work that way on this side of the pond. Part of me wishes that we as an industry would crack down on the unscrupulous dealers who have tables full of emaciated animals covered with mites at herp shows. Gives the whole hobby a bad name. Seems whenever you find these tables, they are also doing the most business. Why? Price and selection. Oh, and you get free mites with every purchase. Ok, stepping off my soap box now. | ||
