I mention wolves because according to current taxonomy dogs are considered a subspecies of the wolf (Canis lupus familiaris). I am thinking that unless there is specific legislation specifically listing dogs as domestic pets that this could potentially be a back door way to eventually ban dog ownership. While it does seem unlikely at this point in time, history shows that when you give governments (especially ours.) an inch sooner or later they take a mile. | ||
