Like the previous poster said concentrate on your females first. I am assuming(and you know what that means)that your snakes are relatively young. If that is the case I would use Normal females to breed to your Morph males when they are breeding size and keep all of your female baby Morphs. If you need to buy 3 or 4 large Normal females to get the show on the road I would not hesitate to do that either. At the risk of telling you something you may already know it takes a good 2 to 3 years for females to reach breeding size if fed well along with being mature enough sexually to be able to breed for the most part. Your males can breed maybe anywhere from 8 months to a year and a half. That is why you need to completely forget about males right now if your females are small. Dont be feeding the males for 2 or 3 years along with the females when you dont have to be... And my choice would be to pick up a female Enchi if I had to choose between an Enchi and a Fire. If you insist on getting a male because they are cheaper then just make sure to pick up some breeder size Normal females to start making your own Morphs.. Sorry to ramble on like that.. Good Luck with your new Addiction.. Jay from JEMreptiles [ Hide Replies ]
