Well, there are two trains of thought on how to go about it. First, if you have a small shoebox you usually keep them in, and you are VERY, VERY careful and slow when you gently open the lid without clunking and clanking, etc..so they do NOT notice you doing it so they spook, you can then gently place one with long tweezer tongs with it's face ripped up just inside the dark cutaway entrance (ripped face first)to the hide cup it hangs out in, and if you do all this with ZERO comotion and racket, many times they will check it out soon after and grab it up. Do this then leave it in total darkness again too.
OR!,....do this same thing with the pink again and put it in a tiny 8 ounce deli cup so they are both in very close proximity, and leave it alone again in total darkness as well totally undistubed.
Sometimes it takes a while, but they usually ALWAYS give in after a while of getting hungry. Just hang in there, they can go a VERY long time with no food. As long as it isn't super skinny yet, I wouldn't worry at all, and just keep trying about every five to 7 days.
good luck!
