From what I've kept, Garter Snakes and Water Snakes do best in a glass tank, preferably with a "semi-naturalistic" setup. I also kept the larger Rat Snake types in 29 gallon or 55 gallon aquariums - most like to climb and don't mind hanging out in the open. | ||
