Sounds like Hondurans would do great. Florida kings too. Any snake whose range and habitat is close in latitude and elevation to where you live.



I know a guy who lives in the So Cal mtns. He can keep a zonata happy and healthy by doing just about nothing. I live only 2hrs away but at sea level. Same snake, I've got to work to keep the background temps cool enough, which is why I don't have it anymore.



Keeping a snake whose natural environmental conditions closely matches your area's conditions sure makes it easy on the keeper. Less environmental control necessary.
