You remember that age old mystery question that goes like this?

"If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Well I have had a similar question in my mind for years. "If The Boaphile screams in the Boa room and no one is around to hear it, does he make a sound?" Well I am very pleased to report that he does!

This past Sunday February 13, 2011, The Boaphile, that's me, was making my afternoon rounds checking on my girls to see how breeding was progressing. Well upon looking at one particular female that I have anxiously been awaiting an ovulation from, I found her in the midst of a huge swelling and ovulation! My mouth immediately and reflexively exclaimed that word I save for special occasions... "SAHWEEET!!!" I bellowed! I was and am ecstatic! I finished making the rest of my rounds and went back upstairs. My wife came to me and asked what I had hollered SAHWEEET about! Isn't that exciting! I am so pumped to find out that when I do make a sound, even when nobody else is in the big snake room to hear me, I do make a sound. However, I am not as excited about that as I am about this ovulation!

Here she was on Sunday. The front half of her body in the way preventing a good shot at her side:

But with that increased height back there, you can tell exactly what is going on back there. Then she favored me with a nice view of her second ovulation yesterday.

Here is a baby she made two years ago:

Have a great day everybody!
