I awoke this morning and the first thing i did of course was i checked up on my little girl. Well i found her hidden under her hut and i nudged her and she scampered across half the cage the way she normally does. Her back legs are working very very well, and she seems fully recovered. Even the flattened part on her tail in much better, I cannot even tell there was anything wrong with her.
This is what i think may have happened. I believe she was under the rock and she always really smushes herself in there. So i think that the rock much have shifted in a way that pinned her down right above her tail. So, the blood flow must have been restricted, hence the reddish hindlegs. The blood flow recovered and she slowly regained use of her legs. Kind of like how is you sleep on your arm it leaves a press mark on your skin and then you cant feel your arm because it's sleep. I believe that happened, but to a much greater degree.
She looks and seems much better, but i think i'll keep her in her own cage for another day or 2 to ensure that she stays a bit stress free.
A big thanks to all of you late nighters who responded to my post 5 minutes after i posted it at 2:30AM )
