I took my female black milk in a few weeks ago. She wasn't eating for the last few weeks. He did a fecal an said he thought it had Strongyloids (sp?), and recommended a shot of Ivermectin. I said ok, not knowing any better. When I got to work, I did a search on this forum and read about it's toxicity. I was very concerned to say the least. My snake seemed ok for a few days, then out of the blue it bit me (very odd for a black milk). The next day (about 6 days after the shot) it was dead. Lesson learned. | ||
