A few shots here of a clutch of Pales that have taken off very well. It was only a small clutch of 5 eggs, and I've gotten a full mix of feeders from it. This first Pale took his first pink head on the first try and hasn't refused a feeding ever. Gotta love that!

The others needed tails stuffed on em a few times, but for the most part after steady persuasion have taken to pink heads rather quickly.

But this little PAIN IN THE ARSS, with the arrowhead head cap, is giving me fits and hasn't taken a food item on his own yet.....Pink head offered....head refused....tail stuffed...same thing next week, and next week, and the next, and the next...on and on and on it's gone. But one day he'll take that pink head. I just know he will. When that day happens I'll drink a beer and smoke a cigar in rejoice.

Until then, it's the same old scenario... Offer, refuse, force. Offer, refuse, force.
I'll leave you all w/ a couple of other Cherry Co. Pales to look over.
