Make sure that when you take the snake to the vet that they are doing a swab and culture to find out exactly what needs to be treated and they are giving you the correct meds to do so not just some broad spectrum antibiotic - and keep treating even after the snake appears healthy.

Also the "incubator set up" as mentioned by John is an excellent method to help recovery. If you are dropping the racks temperatures for breeding you might want to consider removing this snake in the future as a precautionary measure.
