It ties itself to the same allele as the pastel but you CANNOT create faders out of thin air. Faders hatch out almost snow white as hatchlings, and NERD wasn't the first one to have it pop out among their pastel lines. Amir was the first to find the gene and they are what he calls the citrus whiteouts. The faders and the whiteouts make some sick things that the pastel gene cannot do by itself. I own several whiteouts and lots of regular pastels and pastel combos. They are different and are not the product of selective breedings. You can tell a whiteout in a clutch among a bunch of regular pastels. Like I said, they are almost white when they hatch. | ||
