As long as you can meet all the snakes' temperature and humidity needs while keeping them together, I think it works fine.

I have 3 species of King, Ball Pythons and soon a Bullsnake that will all be in two rack systems kept at similar temperatures. During the winter the kings have a tendency to stay toward the front (cooler) end of the tubs and buried in their substrate. Other than that, they all act as they would in a rack system of nothing but their own species.

I've actually found it helpful to have the mix of species because I can use the kings to separate tubs of dominant and young males, males and breeding size females, etc, to help everybody keep feeding.
