I know you from cham forum, too - right?
Anyway, thanks so much for the info. I just moved the geckos into a 10 gal last night and I was considering putting Jamaica in there. I think I will isolate her altogether and see what happens with just my greens. If the sad, stressed one gets better I will either get another brown for Jama or maybe find her a better home.
I had always been told that the gecks were nocturnal but I do see them often during the day and certainly around dusk (I am rarely up by dawn LOL!) so being crepuscular makes sense.
Thanks!

>>I haven't mixed, but I see browns, greens, house geckos, and more living in the same space outside. Even outside, it's obvious which species take rule over others. So, here's the breakdown. Browns are aggressive and territorial, and won't mix well with greens and especially not house geckos in a small enclosure. House geckos aren't nocturnal, they're crespucular, and do share some of their awake time with browns. I can't remember ever seeing house geckos and greens interacting, but it's probably better if you try putting them together first, however, I don't think the situation is going to work. I think you're going to have to get a 10-gallon and stick your house geckos in there.
