I notice my annectan's usually bred in between weeks 8-12 after warming them up.



I wasn't very successful at breeding Annectans for my first couple years. A successful old timer annectan breeder gave some good advice. House your SD's breeder into group, even several males in same group. Keep them lean, and not obese. Only separating them for feeding and then right back together. I even added moisture hide boxes for them. He told me he housed his snakes together year round even hibernation. His method worked well for me and still does.

One thing I did different was after the females gravid and the breeding season was over I went back to housing them individually.
